TPE Publishing now has an open call for submissions. That means you can submit your book manuscript for review whether or not you are currently working with a literary agent.
We only accept submissions for original works. All manuscripts are run through advanced plagiarism checking software to certify originality.
We publish both fiction and non-fiction titles, so our submission guidelines are broken down separately for fiction and non-fiction:
Nonfiction Submission Guidelines
We publish nonfiction books in all major markets if they meet the following guidelines:

You must be an expert in your market with a unique message to share.

Your book must solve a particular problem, provide proven solutions, or offer unique and fresh insights for readers.

We may accept nonfiction submissions in other markets if the author can demonstrate an active fan base and/or marketing plan.
Fiction Submission Guidelines
We do not publish or accept submissions for poetry or children’s picture books. Other than that, we will consider publishing fiction books in most genres if they meet the following guidelines:

You must have a completed full-length novel (40,000+ words minimum, depending on genre).

Your story must be original. We do not accept fanfiction submissions.

Note: We do not publish short stories or novellas unless the author plans to publish at least one full-length novel in the same genre with us.
Edit Your Manuscript Before You Submit
Please do your best to edit your manuscript before you submit it for review. If we find countless typos, mistakes, or plot holes in your manuscript, we will tell you that you need to work with an editor and invest more time and effort in the editing process. The submissions that tend to stand out and are most likely to be accepted for a publishing deal are those that are well-edited.
How to Submit a Manuscript
Simply send fill out the Submission Form clicking on the button at the bottom, but first read all the text herewith. Please include your full name, a brief (2-3 sentence) synopsis or description of your proposed book and a link to your website(s) if applicable.
If you have written more than one book, please send the book you’re most excited about. Feel free to mention in your note that you’ve written multiple books, but only send us one manuscript for review at a time.
If we accept your manuscript, we can then talk with you about other books you’ve written.
If your manuscript isn’t a good fit for us to publish, feel free to send us another book after we’ve responded to your first submission. Our editors ask that you do not submit multiple manuscripts to us at one time.
Art Submissions
Please send us using the form a link to your portfolio. We do not accept physical samples because we work only with digital files for eBook, paperback, and audiobook publishing.

Do you accept unsolicited manuscripts?
Yes, we accept unsolicited manuscripts, and we review all submissions within 30-60 days.
What if I don’t have an agent?
No problem! Most of our submissions are from unagented authors, although we do accept submission from literary agents. If we do a deal with you directly, you’ll be able to keep your full share of our generous 50% royalties.
How much can I earn with TPE Publishing?
At TPE Publishing, we believe in creating long-term partnerships that are good for you and for us. That’s why we split all royalties with our authors 50/50, so you’re earning 3-6 times the amount of royalties you would with a typical traditional publisher. Our goal is to help you earn a full-time income from book sales.
How much does it cost?
We’re a no-fee independent press. That means we never charge a fee to publish books. We earn our profit when we sell books for you.
Do you guarantee you will publish my book?
No. Even if you meet all the guidelines on this page, we review all submitted manuscripts and decide on a case-by-case basis if it makes sense for us to offer a deal to the author. If we find the author or manuscript is not yet ready for publishing, we will make specific recommendations on how you can improve your writing and the marketability of your book. Authors who are receptive to constructive criticism and are willing to set their egos aside in order to learn and grow are welcome to resubmit their manuscripts for consideration after making editorial changes.
